Description:

Once – the tall version with timber seat and back wereexclusively for the professors at St. Catherine's College in Oxford. Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1963.
In 1965 the Oxford chairs upholstery was added and the chairs put in production.
Over time, the chairs grew thicker and changed appearance so 40 years after their introduction they were revitalized and a more sculptural look was restored closer inappearance to the original design.
The Tall Back models are available as lounge chairs with a fixed height base or can be adjustable and fitted with a five star base on castors.
The Tall Back Oxford chairs are available with Leather or fabric upholstery.
